All-Star Outfielder Andy Van Slyke Teams Up with NUGENIX® to Defeat Low Vitality

PR Newswire

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Award-winning Nugenix®, GNC's #1 selling testosterone brand, announced today it has teamed up with All-Star outfielder Andy Van Slyke to promote the brand.

Former baseball great, Andy Van Slyke stays in great shape after 50 thanks to his consistent fitness regimen that includes Nugenix and resistance training.

During his 13-year professional baseball career, Van Slyke played in three All-Star games, won three Gold Glove Awards and two Silver Slugger Awards, and was ranked in the top 10 in many offensive categories. He then went on to serve as first base, outfield, and baserunning coach for the Detroit Tigers.

Though Van Slyke is now retired from professional baseball, he maintains an intense fitness and weightlifting routine. But at age 57, he realizes how difficult it can be to stay in shape as men get older. It's natural for men over 50 to feel less energy, vitality, and drive than they used to. This is because men's free testosterone levels gradually decline, and this affects their performance and energy levels.

To help him stay active, healthy, and fit, Van Slyke has been a longtime user of NUGENIX®.  Powered by a clinically researched ingredient, Testofen®, an extract from the rare fenugreek plant, NUGENIX® fights low vitality by safely boosting free testosterone levels – the testosterone component available for cells to use that need it.  When combined with resistance training, NUGENIX® can increase energy levels, lean muscle mass, workout performance, and, as an added bonus, libido.

"We were so pleased to discover Andy Van Slyke has been a longtime NUGENIX® customer," said Mike Amburgey, Chief Marketing Officer for NUGENIX®. "It only makes perfect sense for Andy to team up with the NUGENIX® brand.  As a Brand Ambassador, he will appear in various advertising and promotional materials. We are really excited to have him on board."

Van Slyke is equally positive about the partnership. He said, "I'm really excited about my new partnership with NUGENIX®. As someone who works out and lifts weights regularly, I was looking for something that could help me maintain my energy and help boost my performance. NUGENIX® certainly does that. This is a product I use myself every day and really believe in, so I'm very excited about the opportunity to represent the brand."
