BOCA RATON, Oct. 10, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Stem Holdings Inc. STMHSTEM (the "Company" or "Stem"), is proud to announce that Senior Legal Counsel, Jessica M. Feingold, Esq., LL.M. will be a panelist for "Cannabis – Friend or Foe to Commercial Real Estate?" The lecture, hosted by CREW Miami, will be held this Thursday, October 11th from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Miami.

The program will address the correlation of cannabis and commercial real estate in South Florida, discuss Florida's cannabis laws and projected changes, as well as compare Florida with other states where marijuana is medicinally or recreationally legal.

Jessica will share her knowledge of real estate transactions, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, land use and zoning matters for the cannabis industry. She will also describe her experience working with regulators in Florida in the drafting of comments and proposed state marijuana rules and legislation. 

Jessica is licensed to practice law in Florida, Colorado, Texas, and D.C. and is a Steering Committee Member of the ABA TIPS Cannabis Law and Policy Task Force.  She graduated Cum Laude and earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Miami.  She received her J.D. from Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad Law Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and a Master's of Law from the University of Miami School of Law, where she received her LL.M. in Real Property Development.

Recent past speaking engagements for Jessica include the Business of Marijuana in Florida Conference in October and at the American Bar Association Annual Conference in August 2018 on the Protecting Intellectual Property in the Legal Cannabis Industry.
