Cycle Trader, a division of Trader Interactive, recently participated in a sponsorship with the Republic of Texas (ROT) Biker Rally which was held on June 7-10, 2018 in Austin, TX. ROT Rally is the largest ticketed motorcycle rally in the U.S., and this year the event brought over 200,000 bike riders and enthusiasts together to enjoy four days filled with food, music, and motorcycles. First time participant, Cycle Trader, came on as new sponsors of the Daughters of Custom Bike Build.

The first annual Daughters of Custom Bike Build brought together father/daughter duos for a great cause. Each team was given three months and $5,000 dollars to build their one-of-a-kind bike. The custom bikes were unveiled during the rally on June 9th, with the bike voted as the public's favorite being given to a deserving veteran. The other two custom bikes (a Royal Enfield and a 1981 Yamaha) were then auctioned off on following the event. The combined total proceeds from the bike auction were divided in half and given to two military-focused charity organizations, Patriot Warrior Foundation and Fisher House Foundation.

"The ROT Rally is an amazing event that brings together thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts from across the country. We were thrilled at the chance to get involved as a sponsor this year," said Paige Bouma, vice president of Cycle Trader. "The Daughters of Custom Bike build event was a huge success, and we were honored to host the silent auction on our website which raised more than $15,000 toward nonprofits dedicated to supporting veterans, the military, and their families."
