Atish Gude Joins NetApp as Chief Strategy Officer

Accomplished industry leader brings experience in identifying and driving new opportunities to help accelerate NetApp's market momentum

Building on substantial innovation across the company, Gude's experience in growing and managing businesses as well as cross-functional teams will support NetApp's continued growth. He will play a critical role in identifying and harnessing new trends and disruptive technologies that are entering the market.

For the past 25 years, Gude has been a leader in the communications and technology industries with a strong background in building and growing businesses. Most recently he served as the senior vice president of Corporate Strategy at Verizon Communications, where he was responsible for the development of Verizon's corporate strategy and strategic plan. He was key in evaluating the impact of technologies, trends, and competitive dynamics across strategic initiatives. Prior to that he held senior leadership roles in marketing, strategy, corporate development, and operations at Verisign, Clearwire Communications and Sprint Nextel. Gude earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in computer engineering from Syracuse University. He is married with two children.
