Navigant Adds Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering, and Quantitative Analytics Expertise to Growing Financial Services Advisory and Compliance Segment


Navigant (NYSE:NCI) today announced three senior-level industry
professionals have joined the company's growing Financial Services
Advisory and Compliance (FSAC) business segment.

Adam Klauder, Eli Morillo, and Joseph Sergienko are seasoned financial
services industry experts who leverage a diverse background to bring
clients the cutting-edge strategies and implementations they rely on in
today's evolving financial landscape.

, Senior Director, Washington, DC

Klauder is a senior director in Navigant's global investigations and
compliance (GIC) practice within FSAC. He is a seasoned compliance
executive, attorney, and senior leader with a proven track record of
guiding financial institutions and corporations through complex
compliance investigations and structural reorganization. Klauder has an
extensive background in developing overall compliance strategy,
directing high-profile global sanctions, export controls, and
anti-corruption investigations, and providing strategic guidance on the
build-out of corporate compliance functions.

, Director, Dallas

Morillo is a director in the GIC practice, based in Dallas. A former
compliance executive, Morillo has over 20 years of experience
specializing in regulatory compliance remediation, compliance program
development, and compliance operations. He has deep expertise in
anti-money laundering compliance, and has led worldwide teams on global
sanctions, due diligence, and transaction monitoring operations in more
than 200 countries. Morillo has also held leadership positions in the
world's two largest money services businesses and has partnered with
large banks and regulators globally.

, Director, Boston

Sergienko joins Navigant with nearly 20 years of experience in the
financial services industry. He will lead the financial risk management
and quantitative analytics solution set within FSAC. This team focuses
on model risk management, governance, development, and independent
validation, as well as other key areas such as stress testing, Basel
readiness, BCBS 239 (data governance, architecture and lineage), and
financial instrument valuation and reserves. Sergienko assists financial
institutions with the development of robust risk management frameworks
that satisfy regulatory demands, enhance decision-making, and help
mitigate risk. In addition, he advises clients on implementation of new
accounting standards such as IFRS 9 and CECL. During his career,
Sergienko has worked with clients and as a member of bank management to
develop robust capital planning and stress testing frameworks to meet
regulatory expectations, such as Dodd-Frank Act stress testing and
Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review and recovery resolution
planning requirements.
