"I was inspired to develop my invention because my wife has difficulty moving appliances on her own. She would often ask me for help, and I wanted to provide her with a means to utilize appliances on her own," said the inventor. The GRAB AND GLIDE allows the user to easily access small appliances used daily. It eliminates the hassle of manually moving a small appliance back and forth on a countertop. This will offer disabled individuals a greater sense of independence. It is convenient and easy to use. It is also durable for years of effective use. This device is producible in various sizes to accommodate appliances of all weights and sizes.

The original design was submitted to the Seattle office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
