Ms. McClure has extensive management experience at public and private companies, as well as in the nonprofit sector. Her expertise includes digital and social media, marketing and communications, investor communications, cybersecurity and digital risk management and M&A in new media and technology organizations. She is CEO of JEM Consulting, LLC and managing director of Consultants Collective. She is a limited partner of Off the Grid Ventures and Spike Ventures, where she sits on the investment committee. McClure was vice president of digital and social media for Thomson Reuters, and is considered to be one of the original authorities on digital and social media. She has advised corporations, nonprofits and NGOs on digital and social media strategy and best practices. In 2005, she founded the Society for New Communications Research (SNCR) and served as board chair for 11 years. In 2016, she led the merger between SNCR and The Conference Board. She now chairs the advisory board for SNCR of The Conference Board and leads The Conference Board's Council on Social Media.

Ms. McClure is a director of Observer Publishing Company, where she serves on the compensation committee and a director of two nonprofit boards. She chairs Stanford Women on Boards and is on the host committee of San Francisco's 2020 Women on Boards. In addition to being a NACD Governance Fellow, she also serves on the NACD's Entrepreneurial Board Steering Committee. Ms. McClure earned her Master's degree at Stanford University, her Bachelor's degree from Sarah Lawrence College, and holds a graduate certificate in History, Politics and Society from the University of Oxford.
