PITTSBURGH, Aug. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Hendersonville, N.C., has developed the CONSOLE-EXTENSION, a cup holder device that has the capability of offering space for beverages when using a front, third-seat section of a vehicle console. A prototype is available.

"I frequently travel with my small dog. When I lift up the center console so my dog can sit, I lose any place for my cups and papers," said the inventor. The patent pending CONSOLE-EXTENSION provides a means to hold various liquid containers. This may stop drinks from spilling in an automotive vehicle, which will then prevent stains and messy cleanups. This device will not interfere with other shapes or objects within the vehicle interior. It is highly functional and easy to use. In addition, it is producible in different materials, colors and sizes to enhance any vehicle interior.

The original design was submitted to the Charlotte office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
