BOULDER, Colo., Aug. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Hidden Doors by Design, LLC™, which creates award-winning hidden door bookcases and cabinets, recently unveiled and installed a new door. Its 180 degree hidden door, US patent number 9,598,887 B2, opens a full 180 degrees.

"This allows for a wide passageway," said Peggy Reed, owner of Hidden Doors by Design™, whose showroom is located in Broomfield, CO. "Furthermore, it can be hinged on the left or right and can accommodate doors from 2'6" to 3'6" in width."

It took Hidden Doors by Design two years to develop the 180 degree hidden door hinge system. Although more expensive than its popular hidden door pivot system, the 180 degree system possesses some significant advantages. "It opens wider, giving you a larger doorway opening, and it's compartmentalized allowing it to be shipped more economically," noted Reed. This is a great advantage for out-of-state carpenters who want to build their own bookcases.

"Most customers want the complete system, so we're happy to build the bookcase to their specifications. We offer a paint grade and seven different hardwoods," concluded Reed, "and cabinet doors and drawers in 15 different styles. Our commercial grade magnetic locking system is a popular option, and our concealed bullet-resistant panel is a must for panic or safe rooms."

Hidden Doors by Design, LLC™ won Best of Show at the 2014 Denver Home Show and Hot New Product at the 2011 Colorado Garden and Home Show. Hidden door bookcases are available as in-swing or out-swing models, and in various sizes, designs and trims. All its products are meticulously crafted and expertly engineered.
