NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Tyler Dial's "Hold You to It," a track from his new EP, Repaint, debuted this week on Spotify's New Boots playlist. Curated by Spotify Country's John Marks, New Boots is a source for more than 545,000 followers to discover up-and-coming country artists. Dial joins past New Boots artists including Sam Hunt, Maren Morris, LANCO, Devin Dawson, Midland, Old Dominion and more.

"In high school and college, New Boots was my way of finding new country artists to listen to before they rocketed. It's been a goal of mine for many years to get on the playlist and I can't wait to see what opportunities it creates," Dial said. "'Hold You to It' is lined up with songs by some of my favorite new artists like Tyler Rich, Logan Brill, Danielle Bradbery, Jillian Jacqueline and Steve Moakler."

Dial's five-track EP, Repaint, was produced by Neon Cross Music's Jeremy Spillman and Little Louder's Ryan Tyndell, who also performed on and co-wrote several of the album's tracks. The powerhouse duo brings a wealth of experience and imagination into the studio, having written songs recorded by country music superstars Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Little Big Town, LANCO, Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley and more. Acclaimed Nashville songwriters Ben Hayslip, Ryan Beaver, Lucie Silvas, Devin Dawson, Andy Albert and Kyle Fishman also join Dial on his Neon Cross Music-produced EP.

Dial's publishing and production is led by Melissa Spillman, previously Manager of A&R at Capitol Records Nashville and a fellow Texas Longhorn. Spillman and Neon Cross Music are responsible for developing two of the biggest new acts exploding on the Nashville music scene, alt-country band LANCO and soulful country songwriter Devin Dawson.

"I can't think of a better song to introduce the new Tyler Dial sound with," said Melissa Spillman. "It's fun and unique enough to stand out among great company."

A May 2018 UT Austin graduate, Dial is a BBVA Compass Brand Ambassador. His 2018/2019 tour will include BBVA Music Sessions and appearances in markets including Birmingham, Ala.; Nashville, Tenn.; Phoenix; Dallas, Austin and San Antonio, Texas; Jacksonville and Miami, Fla. and Los Angeles.
