LOS ANGELES, Aug. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Studies show that access to arts and culture improves the lives of disadvantaged children. Arts education alone increases the probability that inner city kids will graduate high school, and even attend and finish college.

Serving 10,000 since 2008, Grammy®-winning songwriter Bunny Hull's mission has been to offer impoverished communities a lifeline to the empowering world of creativity. Her L.A. based non-profit Dream A World Education platform extends transformative arts education programs to in-need communities in Los Angeles, with programming that addresses the whole child, beginning at age five.

Now, Hull furthers the scope of her work with The Ripple Effecther award-winning documentary short, which is a Nominated Selection at the Global Impact Film Festival this weekend.

"Through the festival circuit, I aim to create awareness for crucial societal issues, and to raise funds to empower and enrich the lives of disadvantaged communities," explains Bunny Hull.

The Ripple Effect dives deep into the profound struggle at keeping arts alive for inner city children. It's a rare look inside Los Angeles classrooms and how the power of arts education indelibly impacts schools, communities, and those living in poverty.

With the Global Impact Film Festival's mission to showcase projects that provoke and inspire social change, The Ripple Effect is perfectly aligned with its own message of enriching and emboldening lives by celebrating the strength of media for social justice.
