Tripp Lite hosted its annual Strategic Alliance partner conference on August 1-3, 2018, in Chicago. The conference was an opportunity for Tripp Lite and its premier channel partners to strengthen their relationship as they pursue the mutual goal of continued success.

The conference was an opportunity for Tripp Lite and its premier channel partners to strengthen their relationship as they pursue the mutual goal of continued success.

Against the backdrop of the Chicago skyline, channel partners interacted with Tripp Lite product experts in the company's Integrated Solutions Center, a state-of-the-art product showroom and demonstration space at Tripp Lite corporate headquarters. A popular topic was the Internet of Things and its reliance on edge computing, the fastest growing trend in IT. Through informative breakout sessions, partners learned how Tripp Lite's more than 4,000 products can provide countless solutions for edge-computing infrastructure. A session was also devoted to the diverse sales and marketing resources that are available exclusively to Tripp Lite partners.

The final day of the conference, held at Chicago's historic Theater on the Lake, was highlighted by the presentation of awards to Tripp Lite's highest-achieving partners. Synnex was recognized at the platinum level as the distributor partner with the highest growth in 2017. Tech Data achieved gold status in the same category. PCM and SHI received platinum and gold awards, respectively, as the reseller partners with the highest growth.

Three partners were honored with the 2017 Sales Excellence award for superior achievement in sales growth, strategic partnership, accessibility and teamwork. The winners represent the best of the best in their respective channel: CDW (IT Distribution), Anixter (Datacom) and Essendant (Office Supply). After the awards ceremony, a panel of Tripp Lite executives held an interactive question and answer session.

Overall, the conference provided Tripp Lite's premier partners with a better understanding of product solutions, as well as sales and marketing strategies for the coming year. The conference reinforces Tripp Lite's commitment to channel loyalty.
