Two Elohi Clients Named Finalists in Retailer Choice Best New Product Contest

Products from Impossible Foods and PROBAR, both clients of Elohi Strategic Advisors, are finalists in these annual CSP awards

MARION, Ill., Aug. 16, 2018 Two products under the Elohi Strategic Advisors umbrella have been selected as finalists in the 2018 Retailer Choice Best New Product Contest by CSP magazine. Both nominated in the Foodservice – General and Snacks – Other category, The Impossible Burger by Impossible Foods and PROBAR bite Organic Energy Bars have been honored as finalists in this prestigious, annual award.

With only three finalists per category, Elohi is thrilled that items from its family of brands took home two nominations in its foodservice category. These annual awards are presented by the popular trade publication CSP. CSP has delivered news on the convenience and petroleum retailing industry for the last 20 years, and its monthly issue is delivered to more than 100,000 subscribers. A winner will be selected by voting retailers in an online survey, which closes on Sept. 7.

"At Elohi, we believe our clients' products are the best in the world," says Elohi Chief Executive Officer Kevin Smith. "We are truly excited these innovative products from Impossible Foods and PROBAR would be nominated for an award and are honored to be featured by an industry leader like CSP."

The Impossible Burger is a major trend-breaker in the world of meat consumption. This vegan product looks, smells and tastes like beef, which is making it the go-to choice for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. With zero cholesterol and an 87% decrease in greenhouse gas emissions over traditional beef patties, it's no surprise this plant-based product has recently seen viral success.

PROBAR bite Organic Energy Bars pack energizing nutrition into quick, on-the-go bars available in three tasty flavors: mixed berry, peanut butter chocolate and coconut almond. Each dairy-, gluten- and soy-free bar is USDA-certified organic and packs five grams of protein into 140–150 calories.
