Industry veterans bring significant experience to drive growth and execute innovation roadmap

NEW YORK, Aug. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Simmons Research, the leading source of essential consumer intelligence, today announced the addition of 3 key executives to its team. With the appointments of Dan Zislis (VP, Head of Agency Sales), Jim Laiderman (VP of Product and Custom Analytics), and Abhinav Kothari (Senior Director, Engineering), Simmons has added the necessary pieces to bring future product enhancements to market.

As VP and Head of Agency Sales, Dan Zislis assumes leadership of Simmons' agency vertical, including sales, client service and strategy.  Dan joins Simmons from comScore, where he spent the last three years as vice president of sales, leading a team that generated record-breaking sales of cutting-edge cross media and consumer journey products.  Prior to comScore, Dan spent a decade at GfK MRI, most recently as vice president of business development, where he was a top sales producer and new business leader in the custom and advanced analytical solutions space.

Jim Laiderman joins Simmons as vice president of product and custom analytics.  In this role, Jim will be responsible for shaping the vision, creating the roadmap and driving the execution of Simmons' custom products and analytics.  Prior to joining Simmons, Jim was managing principal, analytics at Acxiom, helping clients roadmap their digital transformation and optimize their omni-channel campaign strategies.  Prior to Acxiom, Jim led an analytics team at Nielsen focused on the global growth and delivery of the company's segmentation, predictive modeling and custom research.

As Senior Director of Engineering, Abhinav Kothari will be responsible for all aspects of engineering and technology at Simmons. Abhinav will oversee the growth of Simmons' platform and applications, driving actionable insights for clients using Simmons' data. Mr. Kothari joins Simmons from Mediaocean where he was the director of development, responsible for developing analytical systems that converted large amounts of data into meaningful information, enabling users to make strategic decisions. Prior to Mediaocean, Abhinav led the development team at ARMtech, an accounting technology company.
