ENUMCLAW, Wash., Aug. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Seattle Polo and Equestrian Club (SPEC), the premier polo club in the Pacific Northwest, is pleased to announce its grandest event of the summer – the 4th Annual Seattle Polo Party on Saturday, August 11, 2018.

The party curates the best of polo as a sport, fashion and lifestyle into an all-day affair. Event highlights include two polo games, a halftime show and divot stomp, a wooden horse demo, an awards ceremony, fashion shows and a women's hat parade and contest. The day will close with an after-party featuring a DJ and music. All beverage proceeds will benefit The MORELove Project in their charitable efforts to support the homeless. Guests are encouraged to dress in their garden best with smart summer dresses, fanciful hats and of course, polo shirts.

"We started Seattle Polo and Equestrian Club to offer summer polo and grow the sport in the Northwest while giving back to the community," said Cameron Smith, President and owner of SPEC. "Outdoor community events are part of what drives the hype of summers in Seattle, including Seafair, Fleet Week and now the Polo Party. We're just thrilled to share our passion for polo during the most beautiful time of year."

Seattle Polo and Equestrian Club features 68 acres of equestrian facilities including a regulation-size polo field, practice polo field, two riding arenas, stables for 60 horses, pasture for an additional 60 horses, individual polo lessons and polo clinics. SPEC launched their polo club in July 2014 with a practice game open to the public, drawing more than 300 local attendees. In 2016 Seattle Polo Party drew over 800 attendees to the two-day event, and guest estimates for 2018 are over 1,000.
