ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., Aug. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Pure Blends, a plant-based butters brand committed to promoting the positive impact plant-based eating has on our planet, announced today that it is tripling-down on its commitment to the health of the planet by joining forces with three top environmentally-focused organizations—the Plant Based Foods Association, 1% For The Planet and the Reducetarian Foundation.

The Plant Based Foods Association is the nation's leading trade association for plant-based food companies. Together, the two organizations will continue to champion for a fair and competitive marketplace for alternatives to animal products and ingredients.

Additionally, 1% For The Planet is a global movement whose mission is to bring dollars and doers together to accelerate smart environmental giving. Through its membership with 1% For The Planet, Pure Blends will donate one percent of its annual sales to support The Reducetarian Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve human health, protect the environment and spare farm animals from cruelty by reducing the societal consumption of animal products.
