Two Locking Mechanisms on One Bike Lock Give Consumers a Fresh Option

Option Lock, LLC Debuts New Patented Bike Lock Design at Interbike® 2018

PR Newswire

SOLVANG, Calif., Aug. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Option Lock, LLC today announced they will debut their bike lock product, The Option Lock, at Interbike 2018 in Reno Tahoe. This one-of-a-kind bike lock has two crossbars with a locking mechanism on each bar. This gives consumers the option of breaking the lock down into four pieces for easy toting and locking and unlocking a bike from multiple directions.

Bike Lock System

The newly patented design allows users of the Option Lock to enjoy one of two locking mechanisms for easy lock access. To use the lock, bikers unlock the Option Lock from one of the cross-bars and places it around the bike and rack or pole. Once the bike lock is secured, it doesn't matter if the bike lock rotates, gets weighed down or gets stuck between other bikes, one of the two locking mechanism will always be more available than the other. The user has the option to choose which crossbar is easiest to access and unlock the bike from there.

This dual cross-bar feature, each with its own locking mechanism, enables the Option Lock to be broken down into two, three or four pieces. This allows for ease of storage and toting. Bikers can store the Option Lock in the provided Velcro mounting case which can be hung on the bike frame or handle bars. The Option Lock can also be carried in a backpack, satchel, cross-body bag or purse.

"I am very excited to debut The Option Lock at Interbike.  We are offering up a fresh twist on traditional bike locks and this this perfect venue. Buyers and influencers can see firsthand how our lock differs from what is currently on the market and how consumers will appreciate the options the Option Lock brings," states Scott Gold, creator, Option Lock.

The Option Lock is made of high-grade steel. It is a durable, heavy duty bike lock that is rubber-coated to protect against scratches. It is also weather resistant using rotating lock covers to prevent corrosion and rust. The Option Lock comes with two keys and Velcro mounting bag.

Option Lock will be located at booth #2556 inside the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, Sept. 18-20. Please visit the booth for show specials or for more information visit www.Optionlock.com.
