BERKELEY, Calif., Aug. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- California Civil Rights Law Group, a San Francisco Bay Area law firm specializing in discrimination law at http://www.civilrightsca.com/ with offices in San Anselmo, Oakland, and San Francisco, is proud to welcome Saja Spearman-Weaver from the University of California, Berkeley, as the firm's summer undergraduate intern. Spearman-Weaver brings a unique "East Bay" perspective to the firm, helping the law firm better to understand the perspectives of persons of color and residents of East Bay communities such as Berkeley and Oakland.

"We are so proud to have Saja join our team, if only for the summer," explained Larry Organ, principal attorney at the Bay Area-based law firm. "Having an undergraduate intern has been a huge asset for our law firm. The questions posed by someone familiar only with what she thinks justice should look like and not entirely versed in the multitude of convoluted roadblocks that exist has led Saja to bring to the table some excellent solutions to holding employers accountable and uplifting those whom they oppress."

Said Saja, "After meeting with the team during the interview process, I knew the sunny office in San Anselmo is where I wanted to learn to fight like the firm that I have been reading about."
