Radio Host Mack Maloney Announces 2 New Wingman Books

PR Newswire

BOSTON, Aug. 2, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- One of the longest-running techno-thriller series will continue for at least two more books, according to its author, radio show host Mack Maloney.

Maloney helms the syndicated radio program "Mack Maloney's Military X-Files." He's also the author of the best-selling "Wingman" military adventure series.

"We just signed a deal for two more Wingman books," Maloney said, speaking on a recent broadcast of the show. "This will bring the series to 20 books, and there might be even more after that."

The contract was signed with Speaking Volumes Publishing. No terms were disclosed. Wingman 19 is scheduled for release in May 2019.

The Wingman series follows the adventures of rock-star fighter pilot Hawk Hunter as he battles America's foes in the aftermath of World War III.

"When I started writing the Wingman books back in 1985, I never thought I'd still be doing it in 2018," Maloney told his listeners. "But the series has sold more than a million copies so far, so I couldn't say no."

Maloney's show explores the U.S. military's involvement in the paranormal. He's joined every week by co-hosts Juan-Juan and Commander Cobra, both veterans of classified military operations. Regular contributors include UFO researchers Steve Ward and Emily Mittermaier. The program can be heard on numerous radio networks, including Dark Matter Radio, Wednesdays from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. and KCOR Radio, Fridays 10 p.m. to midnight. Both times are Eastern.

Maloney is also the author of two nonfiction books, "UFOs in Wartime — What They Didn't Want You to Know" and "Beyond Area 51." He has also served as a consultant for a government-funded research firm working with U.S. intelligence agencies.
