PITTSBURGH, Aug. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- It may seem like second nature to lift toilet seats when necessary as a part of everyday life.  However, an inventor from Detroit, Mich., has thought of a more sanitary way to get the job done.

He developed SWIFT TOILET SEAT to provide an easy, hands-free method of raising and lowering a toilet seat. As such, it eliminates the need to touch the toilet seat, which promotes sanitary conditions by preventing the spread of germs. Other appealing features include convenience, effectiveness and an affordable price. This unique device is also easy to install, operate and maintain. In addition, it is versatile for use with various styles of residential and commercial toilets.

The inventor's personal concerns inspired the idea. "I was looking for a more sanitary way to lift and lower the toilet seat in public rest rooms, which may not be kept clean," he said. "I realized this would also be an easy remainder for men to put the seat back down after use in residential bathrooms."

The original design was submitted to the Bingham Farms office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
