PITTSBURGH, Aug. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- When cooking with a number of pans on the stove, it may be difficult to keep track of which spoon on a conventional spoon rest belongs with which pan. Fortunately, an inventor from Pelham, Ala., has found a way to eliminate this type of confusion.

She developed COOKING CADDY to provide a neat and organized means of storing and retrieving cooking utensils used with multiple pots. As such, it keeps the spoons separated for easy identification and retrieval. At the same time, it saves space on the stove. What's more, it keeps food residue from the utensils from dripping onto kitchen surfaces, reducing time, effort and supplies used for cleanup. It is also novel, attractive and easy to use, clean and reuse. In addition, this unique invention is convenient, effective and affordably priced.

The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "I found myself using the same spoon in different pots since I couldn't remember which spoon I had used for which pot," she said. "I wanted a way to keep the mixing spoons separated from each other and easily identifiable."

The original design was submitted to the Birmingham office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
