Gentech, LLC Announces Major Investment in Axiom UMA Platform

Salesforce® CRM and Addepar® reporting enhance comprehensive UMA/TAMP platform

PR Newswire

CENTENNIAL, Colo., Aug. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Gentech, LLC, an innovative provider of broker dealer and investment management software, announced it has made a major investment in its Axiom: Integrated Advisor Solutions platform. The announcement was made by Dean Rager, President of Gentech.

The Axiom platform, previously known as SelectOne, is predominantly used by Registered Investment Advisors as a UMA platform, but also can serve as a TAMP solution. The software streamlines middle-office functions like trading, rebalancing, and billing. Currently, it is approaching $2.5 billion in assets under administration.

"We are constantly searching for ways to make the platform more advanced and effective for our Registered Investment Advisor users," Mr. Rager said. "The investment has further enhanced what we believe is a game-changing, enterprise-level investment advisory software platform. It also allowed us to integrate and leverage the addition of Salesforce's CRM functionality and Addepar reporting capabilities. By coupling these beneficial partners with Gentech's proprietary middleware, we believe we have an even more robust platform that can challenge any in the industry." He added, "The Axiom platform and associated software is meant to make the life of all advisors more efficient and productive."

Mr. Rager also announced that Axiom has hired Eric M. Rubin as Senior Managing Director and member of the senior management team. "Eric has nearly 30 years' experience as a financial services executive," Mr. Rager said. "During his career he has many successful years leading registered investment advisory firms and has in-depth knowledge of our industry and its challenges. He understands the issues advisors face in running their practice and will be a valuable addition to the Axiom senior management team."

"I couldn't be more pleased to join Axiom: Integrated Advisor Solutions," Mr. Rubin said. "I was familiar with the SelectOne platform for many years and saw firsthand how it has helped advisors enter and grow their fee-based business. The enhancements to the platform make it an even more disruptive force in the fee-based market. As the industry has evolved and regulations have changed, advisors are having to spend more time on compliance and operational issues while still trying to grow their business. The platform enables advisors to focus more on servicing existing customers and growing their practice, leaving many of the middle office functions to the Axiom team."

Mr. Rubin stated that the changes to the platform, which also included new investment managers, strategists, and models, have been extremely well received by its users. In addition, Gentech's technology team has spent hundreds of hours integrating their proprietary, customized applications into the robust features of the Salesforce interface specifically for Registered Investment Advisors. Axiom will be conducting regional seminars to discuss the platform as well as presenting the software at industry conferences.
