EUGENE, Ore. (PRWEB) August 29, 2018

Sarah Vail marks her publishing debut with the release of "James Street" (published by Archway Publishing), a novel charting the plight of a successful prosecutor torn between pursuing his dream woman and an evil murderer whose horrific intentions hit close to home.

A serial poisoner is operating in Seattle. Three childhood friends now working as professionals in law enforcement – district attorney Tim, medical examiner Kathy and Seattle detective Scott – must stop the unknown man, before he kills again. As they pursue the killer, they also follow their own aspirations of love and family.

"James Street" shows readers that there is a dedicated group of men and women in law enforcement protecting citizens from evil whether or not they see it. The book also explores how actions have consequences, sometimes unintended.

"The book is an engaging, quick read that will immerse the reader in a fictional world. The characters are fun, richly developed and likeable. It's a great book to pick up and lose yourself into over a rainy weekend," Vail shares. "I would like the reader to finish my book and feel like they'd taken an enjoyable journey. ‘James Street' is a smart, sexy romp."

An excerpt from "James Street":
He marveled at life: for months everything had ticked along in the same boring routine. And one day, you see a beautiful woman dancing down the stairs at the James Street parking garage, and life takes off in an entirely new direction. Dani had changed his life and the way he felt about everything. He couldn't wait to share it all with her.
