Harvard Business Publishing announced today that Larry Clark has joined Corporate Learning as managing director of global learning solutions. Clark comes to the company from Comcast, where he served as vice president of Comcast University's Talent & Professional Development College.

As managing director of global learning solutions, Clark will lead the team of learning solutions managers around the globe who partner with clients to design and develop learning experiences unique to each organization's needs. During his six-year tenure with Comcast, Clark oversaw all leadership, high-potential and executive development, as well as learning and development for all enterprise functions across the organization. He built and led the talent management function and rebuilt and implemented Comcast's high-potential development strategy. Prior to joining Comcast, Larry spent 12 years with Microsoft, where he played various roles in advancing learning, leadership development, technical development, and talent management for Microsoft's global field organization. Clark began his career in the learning and talent profession working as a learning and management consultant for companies including Learning International and Zenger Miller.

"Larry has spent the past 20-plus years leading teams, ensuring they receive innovative, rigorous and impactful learning advice and solution design," said Nick Clayton, vice president of global sales at Harvard Business Publishing. "One of the things I'm most excited about is Larry's deep passion for the development of leaders. The unique perspective Larry brings will be invaluable in helping us deliver solutions that address the unique needs of our clients."

"Having been a client of Harvard Business Publishing for the last four years, I've seen firsthand how great of an impact their learning experiences can have on an organization's performance," explained Clark. "It's why I'm so excited to join the Corporate Learning team and be a part of their next phase of growth. The business world is entering an unprecedented era of change - where artificial intelligence, digital transformation and a multi-generational workforce create the mandate for a new type of leader.
