The graphic lighter market has grown consistently since 2010. More than 21 percent of Bic's total U.S. lighter sales are graphic lighters, and Bic's annual U.S. graphic lighter sales in 2017 topped $175 million. The problem? It's not possible to change the graphic on that graphic lighter. Until now. Lighter Charms, a refrigerator magnet that helps lighter-users express themselves and "snuff their stuff," has attracted some of the biggest players in the $1 billion glass pipe industry. A refrigerator magnet that helps lighter-users express themselves and "snuff their stuff" has attracted some of the biggest players in the $1 billion glass pipe industry. Customers for Lighter Charms™, a patent-pending lighter accessory, include illadelph in Philadelphia, and GRAV in Austin, Texas.

"When we heard about Lighter Charms, and saw the benefit they bring to our clients, we knew we had to partner with the company," said Nick Faroni, illadelph's operations manager. "Lighter Charms are a great upgrade to traditional graphic lighters because now our charms and our brand end up on our customers' lighters or refrigerators, when printed graphic lighters end up in the trash. An added bonus, the glass charms make perfect bowl snuffers."

GRAV vice president of marketing Tanya Rosenzweig added, "The charms looked great and they kept us informed throughout the order. We'd never heard of Lighter Charms, but after trying out some samples, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to put our logo under the glass. It's a game-changer in the smoking and branded accessories worlds."

Founder Rob Healy was an award-winning senior copywriter when he came up with the idea.

"At first, it was just an idea for a bowl snuffer," said Healy. "Most people extinguish lit smokeables using their fingers, lighter bottoms or bulky tools… leaving stinky fingers, charred plastic or the desire for something with a little more style."

Lighter Charms are also fashion accessories that can change with their owners' tastes.

The silicone charm band fits most disposable lighters and holds interchangeable glass charms that can be popped in and out.

The charms have magnets on the back, allowing them to be stored on the fridge when not in use – keeping them away from kids and pets, too.

Lighter Charms are one of the only brandable promotional accessories that are smoking-specific and canna-friendly.

They generate 3,000 impressions per lighter, and 41,000 impressions as a refrigerator magnet over an average lifespan of 7.5 years per charm.

Custom Lighter Charms usually deliver in around six weeks with a minimum order of 250 for $1.99 each, plus shipping.
