Walker Sands Elevates Courtney Beasley to Vice President of Marketing

The integrated digital marketing agency strengthens its executive leadership team with senior marketing expertise and an expanded corporate team to support company growth

CHICAGO (PRWEB) August 21, 2018

Walker Sands, an integrated PR and digital marketing agency for B2B technology and professional services companies, has appointed Courtney Beasley vice president of marketing, effective immediately. As the vice president of marketing, Beasley is a key contributor to Walker Sands' strategic expansion plans, working to solidify Walker Sands' status as a leading B2B tech agency.

Beasley joined Walker Sands in 2012 as employee No. 15. After a short stint in sales, Beasley shifted roles to establish the marketing department and began playing an integral part in the growth of the agency.

Since then, the Walker Sands' marketing team has become a strong cross-departmental support system for the agency, working across digital, creative, sales and PR departments to generate demand and drive leads. Beasley has led the creation of 45 assets and dozens of campaigns to support departments across the agency, including the widely popular Future of Retail and State of Marketing Technology reports. She has spearheaded multiple events, such as Marketing Madness and Just a Book, and overseen paid, SEO and creative campaigns, which bring in an average of over 1000 leads per year. During her time in marketing, Walker Sands has more than tripled revenues and just this month was named to the Inc. 5000 for the sixth year in a row.

"Courtney has been an invaluable asset to our leadership team and is a huge reason that we've been able to grow so quickly. Since joining Walker Sands, she has been a champion of the agency's core values of ‘learn, support, do,'" says Mike Santoro, president of Walker Sands. "Walker Sands' sophisticated marketing program ensures that we are leading conversations around innovation in B2B technology and the future of marketing. I'm excited to continue to push the envelope and deliver next-level campaigns that truly capture the expertise of our marketing team and value our company provides our clients."

Walker Sands has significantly expanded its leadership team over the last year, most recently with the appointment of three new female partners in June 2018. The agency currently boasts an 12-person corporate team that spans across departments including marketing, sales, and human resources. As Walker Sands' client roster has grown, new roles centered on management, program development and recruitment have been filled to support employee and client needs. An increased focus on learning and development programming provides seamless onboarding and offers current employees valuable opportunities for professional development. The strength and diversity of skills within the corporate team has largely contributed to continued employee development and the agency's overall success.

"Coming out of the 2008 recession, agencies weren't investing in marketing for themselves," says Beasley. "Walker Sands took a chance on me, for which I've always been grateful. I am honored to be joining executive leadership as the first female vice president and look forward to continued growth, individually and collectively."
