UL/CSA Certifications Now Come Standard for Across International's AccuTemp Vacuum Ovens

UL/CSA certifications are important throughout North America. They signal quality and dependability, which is why they now come standard for all of Across International's AccuTemp series ovens.

UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is an important safety certification for products sold in the United States, while CSA (Canadian Standards Association) covers Canada. These are recognized industry-wide as a pedigree, signaling the dependability and safety of products and equipment, many operating under some of the harshest conditions. Due to this, Across International has just announced UL and CSA certifications will now come standard with their award-winning AccuTemp series vacuum ovens. This is also available for a small additional fee for the Elite series ovens, as well.

Our vacuum oven lines offer unparalleled temperature uniformity and control. How do they work? Heat originates within the walls of the unit. This is transferred to a series of food-grade, aluminum shelves which act as a heat sink. The heated shelves in turn heat the material. As the material expands, the vacuum draws off any unwanted solvents or chemicals within the material. These ovens have so many applications including: purging flammable solvents, decontaminating samples, chemical resistance studies, desiccation, age testing, moisture determination, and much more.

The AccuTemp line is the industry leader for several reasons. These ovens offer a vacuum hold 10 times longer than competitors' models. This is due to all stainless-steel parts including the internal tubing, vacuum valve, and vent valve. Another important feature is 5-sided pad heating technology. This heats 25% faster than other models on the market, allowing for greater chamber temperature uniformity. Each shelf has its own heater, in-shelf temperature sensor, and controller.

All our AccuTemp ovens come with an LCD PID controller. This is so accurate, it heats within 1°F or C. They're also highly customizable. They can be used with shelves made from different materials, a digital vacuum gauge, or one of Ai's vacuum pumps or cold traps. While CE certification already came standard, the newly added UL and CSA certifications telegraph these vacuum ovens exceptional quality, versatility, and longevity. Today, such certifications are growing more important across several industries.

Ai Vacuum specializes in botanical refinement equipment. This is a subsidiary of Across International, an industry leader in heat treatment and material processing equipment manufacture. It's mission is as simple as it is profound, to empower those advancing science by offering innovative and high-quality equipment, along with the best customer support.
