New VP of Technology brings over 25 years of aerospace and defense industry experience to growing company

Dedicated Computing, a leading original design manufacturer (ODM) of proprietary, embedded computing systems, is pleased to announce the addition of Richard Ross to its leadership team as Vice President of Technology and Product Development. Ross joins Dedicated Computing with over two decades of experience in senior leadership, technology innovation, and engineering positions.

Ross most recently served as Vice President, Connected Aircraft Solutions at Astronautics Corporation of America, where he managed product strategy, product and project development, systems engineering, marketing, and sales.

Ross brings over 25 years of experience to Dedicated from the aerospace and defense industry, including 15 years at Rockwell Collins where he served in leadership roles in program management for commercial and military programs developing navigation, surveillance and communication products. Ross also served in leadership roles with Sierra Nevada Corporation and Harris Corporation. Prior to his industry experience, Ross was a member of the U.S. Air Force, attaining the rank of Captain.

Ross earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Iowa and his MBA from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
