WASHINGTON (PRWEB) August 14, 2018

Every parent of a toddler knows that going to a restaurant with a young child can be stressful. Children's menus tend to skew toward questionable or outright unhealthy, waitstaff isn't always accommodating, and some fellow diners are offended by the mere presence of a little human.

A new restaurant concept slated to be tested in the Washington DC area promises a sophisticated atmosphere for parents, a supervised play spaces for children, and healthy, yet delicious, food for all.

"First and foremost, 'Domus Tea' is a neighborhood café," says Rolandas Pulauskas, the founding partner and restaurateur with over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. "A true neighborhood café is a place for the whole family that connects generations together; ours just puts parents with small children at the center of operation."

A typical kid-friendly restaurant boasts high-chairs, perhaps some coloring books, Play-Doh, and limited "kid zone." "Domus Tea" is much more than that.

"Imagine this: A practical entrance for families, including a ramp for strollers, comfortable seating with stroller parking for parents with babies and toddlers, functional change stations, fully-equipped, private locations for nursing mothers, and a vast play area", explains their vision Justas Vezys, also a founding partner of "Domus Tea."

The café will feature childproofing throughout all public areas, caring staff trained in CPR, interactive games, and scheduled edutainment for both children and parents.

The café will serve a wide variety of natural, sustainably sourced foods and beverages, including salads made with seasonal vegetables and grains, fresh-baked pastries and sweets, an impressive selection of international teas and coffees, custom-crafted smoothies, and fresh-squeezed juices.

The kitchen pledges to use products without synthetic preservatives or dyes and with minimal sugars and sweeteners. Gluten-free and vegan products will be offered for customers with dietary restrictions.

While the restaurant concept is rather unique, its founders emphasize that they're not trying to "reinvent the wheel."

"We've spent over two years analyzing the U.S. food and beverage market and we believe that our concept is a timely response to a very real need of city parents," says Mr. Pulauskas.

After developing many successful food establishments in Europe, the founders of "Domus Tea" are ready to enter the American market. They have gathered a team of experts whose skills range from business development, international banking, to legal matters and marketing.

"This is a startup. We're prepared to run this as a startup from the get-go," assures future investors Mr. Vezys.

The founders are providing the seed capital, but institutional investors and interested individuals will have an opportunity to become a part of what the founders believe is rapidly going to turn into a successful franchise.

"Domus Tea" is coming to Kickstarter and Fundable, two leading crowdfunding platforms, where anyone with a passion for wholesome family fun and socially responsible investing are welcome to become their backers.
