Recovery Point Systems, an independently recognized, leading national provider of cloud-based business resilience solutions, announced that Gartner Inc. has evaluated the company in the July 2018 Critical Capabilities report for Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS). Recovery Point scored in the top three in all four use cases.

Recovery Point received the highest product score (3.83 out of 5.0) for the Medium-Complexity Customer Environment use case, second highest (3.82 out of 5.0) for Small Enterprise Customer Environment, third highest (3.77 out of 5.0) for Midsize Enterprise Customer Environment and third highest (3.63 out of 5.0) for Low-Complexity Customer Environment.

Authored by Gartner analysts Mark Thomas Jaggers and Ron Blair the newest "Critical Capabilities for Disaster Recovery as a Service" report was published on July 12. In addition to the company's recognition in the Critical Capabilities report, Recovery Point also placed highest in Ability to Execute for the second successive year in Gartner's July 2018 Magic Quadrant for Disaster Recovery as a Service.

Gartner recommends that users consider the set of Critical Capabilities as some of the most important criteria for acquisition decisions. Gartner observes that vendors that have large, established and multifaceted practices offer the only real solutions for enterprise organizations.

"Recovery Point believes that its comprehensive portfolio of services, long established heterogeneous platform capabilities and network expertise, all delivered by a highly credentialed technical team, positions us as the select vendor in the enterprise resiliency market," said Marc Langer, Recovery Point President.
