RURO, Inc., a company known for its industry-leading laboratory software portfolio, announces the release of Limfinity® version 7.1. Limfinity® is the software framework that all of RURO's products are built from, and each improvement made to Limfinity® itself creates new possibilities for both current users and the future of RURO's laboratory software portfolio.

To accommodate the needs of RURO's expanding client base for system performance and ease of use, updates in Limfinity® version 7.1 include redesigned icons and indicators, real-time notifications, and enhanced viewing and display options for a more streamlined user interface that is less resource intensive. Additionally, features like barcode and RFID label management have been greatly improved, and users benefit from enhancements such as greater control over the formatting of in-system messages.

Highlighted content in Limfinity® 7.1 includes:

•     Expanded options for badges and alerts
•     Additional real-time notifications
•     Improved user group management
•     Monaco code editor
•     Enhanced tools and dashboards, including support for customer-entered CSS
•     Updated clipboard: now any subject and can be pasted anywhere in Limfinity®
•     Messenger now allows custom subjects and reply addresses

The most significant new content in Limfinity® 7.1 is the available Limfinity® Storage Module, designed for management of samples and reagents storage. The Limfinity® Storage Module allows users to label, store, map, categorize, and quickly find samples within their facility and can be purchased with a new Limfinity® system or added to an existing cloud or license environment. RURO will be releasing additional modules along with future Limfinity® updates.

Subscribers of the RURO cloud will have the 7.1 upgrade added to their cloud automatically, unless they have a service level agreement with RURO stating otherwise. All non-cloud Limfinity® customers with active support subscriptions are eligible to upgrade to Limfinity® version 7.1 but should consult with RURO if any additional services may be required, such as support for migration.
