Koomi Launches Square Integration to Provide a Faster Checkout for Quick-Service Restaurants

Koomi, a 100% cloud-based point-of-sale, and payments company Square announced today an integration that helps quick-service restaurants in Canada and the US take orders and pay even faster during peak rush periods.

(PRWEB) August 01, 2018

Starting today, this integration is available in the Square App Marketplace.

While moving lines faster and capturing more sales, quick-service restaurants in Quebec are protected as Koomi is sales recording module (SRM) compliant and Square offers PCI compliance to all sellers at no additional cost.

‘'Square and Koomi together improve the ordering and payment experience of quick-service restaurants and their on-the-go customers,'' says Kevin Conabree, CEO, Koomi. "Square enables Koomi customers to streamline payments across all channels – no matter where the order happens."

Quick-service restaurants, cafes, food trucks, and franchise restaurants can now use Koomi POS with Square's newest reader for contactless and chip for in-person payments and the Koomi+ app powered by Square's eCommerce API for mobile orders.

"We're proud to welcome solutions like Koomi helping quick-service restaurant sellers serve their customers even faster at the countertop, on the go, and through ordering apps," said Cathy Vigrass, Head of Canada, Square. "By integrating Koomi with Square, all sellers know exactly what they pay for card payments and Quebec sellers in Canada remain SRM compliant."
