Meggitt Training Systems to Exhibit Portable Small-Arms Simulator at Military Police Event

Share:

Meggitt Training Systems will demonstrate its portable FATS® 100P
small-arms simulator at the Military Police and Law Enforcement Expo on
Sept. 18-20 in Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. The event is hosted by the
Military Police Regimental Association.

"The portability of the FATS 100P makes it ideal for training military
police units anytime, anywhere," said Matt Cunningham, Meggitt's
director of virtual systems sales. "Moreover, the FATS 100P is based on
the same simulator technology chosen by the US Army and Marine Corps for
their programs of record, enabling military police to receive the same
high-quality marksmanship and judgmental training."

The FATS 100P features advanced functionality for both instructor and
trainee, delivering weapon handling and shot placement analytics,
marksmanship automatic coaching tools, video-based judgmental training
for escalation and de-escalation, and enhanced graphic capabilities, all
in a compact package. Portable and light, the FATS 100P comes in two
rugged hand-carry cases the size of a large range bag that allow easy
transportation, set-up and operation by one person. Up to six weapon
simulators, including wireless BlueFire® ones, can be run
simultaneously.
