AIS Technology Services Kicks Off Major Infrastructure Improvement Project

Nearly $2 Million to Be Invested in State-of-the-Art Cooling System

Today AIS Technology Services, a leading data center and cloud services
provider, begins a $2 million HVAC improvement project that will enable
more efficient cooling of its Kearny Mesa Data Center. In the past six
years, AIS Technology services has invested nearly $18 million in
capital improvements to its Lightwave Data Center. The company is
currently in the design and permitting phase of the project; however,
leadership expects to break ground in the next 90-120 days.

Matt Thoene, AIS CEO, feels confident that these efforts illustrate the
level of investment that separates AIS from its competitors. "Our
clients trust us with their most crucial workloads that contribute to
the success of their businesses. Continuous investment in projects like
this create the foundation for supporting our clients' ever-evolving
requirements," said Thoene.

Ken Carter, VP of critical infrastructure added, "This improvement
project comes on the heels of significant upgrades to the UPS systems at
Lightwave. Our experienced and dedicated internal Critical
Infrastructure team, Network Operations Center staff, and contractors
are working diligently to ensure that our infrastructure is designed,
built, and maintained to world-class standards."

When the project is complete, the data center will have upgraded all of
the components of the central plant. Since 2012, AIS has invested in the
upgrade or replacement of all of its continuously sustainable and
concurrently maintainable mission-critical infrastructure systems. This
will provide the IT community with greater scalability and efficiencies
that come with the economies of scale at the largest commercial data
center in the region.
