BridgeHealth has announced that Terry Fouts, MD, has joined the company
as its Chief Medical Officer. BridgeHealth
is the leading provider of value-based healthcare services, offering
high-quality, lower cost bundled surgical case rate benefits to
self-funded groups.

"Dr. Fouts' experience in both the clinical and corporate settings makes
him a strategic partner in the BridgeHealth business," said Mark
Stadler, BridgeHealth's President and CEO. "As Chief Medical Officer,
Dr. Fouts will provide the clinical guidance to help us enhance our
program and deliver an even higher level of service to our clients and
members."

In addition to his role with BridgeHealth, Fouts serves as Chief
Clinical Officer and Clinical Operations Advisor for Empactful Capital
and as advisor to HBI Solutions, Owl Insights and medAstute Consulting.
He has held the role of Chief Medical Officer for MedeAnalytics and
Great-West Healthcare, executive positions with Aetna and Cigna, and
multiple national positions including M&A activities with companies such
as HealthNet and Foundation Health.

Fouts practiced as an internist for 13 years. During this time, he
served as an associate clinical professor of medicine at the University
of Colorado School of Medicine, managing partner of the group, and
chairman of the department of medicine and was one of the founders of
the practice's group model HMO. Prior to this, Fouts was a medical
officer with the United States Air Force.

"I believe BridgeHealth is on the right course to helping patients get
the surgical care they need, and I am excited to work with the
BridgeHealth team to continue to partner with high-quality providers
across the country," said Fouts.

BridgeHealth negotiates episode-of-care case rates with the nation's
top-performing surgical facilities and teams and bundles the charges for
many common surgeries into a single discounted price for self-funded
employers. Employer customers save 30-50 percent on surgery costs, and
their members pay little to no cost for the care they need.
