The addition of Baker and Kulawiak bolsters HBR's expertise across
the legal vertical, allowing the company to remain at the forefront of
client needs and deepen its operational infrastructure

HBR Consulting (HBR), a trusted advisor to law firms, law departments
and corporations worldwide, today announces the hiring of Andrew Baker
as senior director and Ken Kulawiak as vice president of information
security and technology. These additions to HBR's leadership team come
as the company continues to strategically invest in top talent to build
a winning portfolio in response to client needs, as well as further
demonstrate its commitment to operational excellence.

In his new role, Baker, who joined with a team of industry experts, will
lead the digital services and analytics practice. His team's expertise
includes guiding law firms and corporate law departments through
strategic investments in the collection, organization, analysis and use
of data to enhance decision making. This practice will leverage digital
strategies and data analytics to modernize service delivery, mitigate
risk and create a competitive advantage in the market. With the addition
of this team, HBR plans to help law firms and law departments draw new
quantitative insights from legal work as they seek to better value
matters, define settlement strategies, set reserves and capture
transaction details. Baker brings more than 10 years of experience
working with law firms and law departments to provide strategic,
operational and technology advice and solutions. Prior to joining HBR,
he held roles designing, managing and delivering digital and data
analytics programs that have been recognized by leading industry
organizations. He also led one of the first innovation programs at an Am
Law 100 law firm and is a regular industry speaker on innovation,
analytics, knowledge management and process redesign.

"I am thrilled to join HBR's talented team and am excited to collaborate
with its deep bench of industry experts to continue to expand the use of
digital and analytics approaches within the legal industry," said Baker.
"This role and HBR are truly the perfect fit for me, as they allow me to
continue to add value to both law department and law firm clients,
designing solutions that can foster a more collaborative relationship
and allow them to better align expectations, ultimately improving how
they deliver legal services and practice law."

"Andrew and his team offer not only data science and statistics skills,
integral knowledge of applicable technology tools and data visualization
skills, but also a strong understanding of the legal context to which
these skills can be applied," said Nick Quil, chief executive officer of
HBR. "We are pleased to add these additional capabilities to our growing
range of services to the legal profession."

HBR also welcomes Kulawiak to its leadership team, who has more than 20
years of experience in the financial services, healthcare, government
and consulting industries. Prior to joining HBR, he served as head of IT
governance, risk and administration for William Blair & Company. In his
new role as vice president of information security and technology,
Kulawiak will focus on continuing to strengthen HBR's information
governance, information security, data privacy and technology, areas
that are increasingly important in the legal industry.

"Ken brings a wealth of experience and unique perspective on the
evolving information security landscape, particularly in the context of
professional services," said Evan Trent, HBR's chief operating officer.
"His expertise and leadership will be invaluable to our company and our
ability to serve clients. I am excited to welcome Ken to the team and
work with him to further reinforce our information security and
technology functions."

"At HBR, we are committed to being deliberate about the investments we
are making and the capabilities we are building as we position for
further growth," concluded Quil. "We are delighted to welcome both
Andrew and Ken to our team, and are confident that their skills,
knowledge and expertise will put us in the strongest position to
continue our growth and to empower our clients to excel in the practice
of law by transforming the business of law."
