August 23, simply by turning on their computers. Combining innovative
technology with a rigorous and engaging curriculum led by
state-credentialed teachers, CAVA @ Maricopa offers each student a
personalized learning experience.

CAVA @ Maricopa is available to students in kindergarten through 12th
grade who reside in Inyo, Kern and Santa Barbara counties.

CAVA @ Maricopa is public school at home, which provides families and
students an alternative to traditional brick-and-mortar education.
Students enroll in online school for a wide variety of reasons,
including advanced learning, a bullying-free environment and the ability
to balance their education with extracurricular pursuits or medical
needs.

"We are excited to welcome our students for the new school year at the
California Virtual Academies," said April Warren, head of schools at the
nine California Virtual Academies. "We are proud to provide a
personalized education tailored to support each student's unique needs
and goals and put them on the path to success in school and beyond."

Students in all grade levels take a full course load across the core
subjects of English/language arts, math, science and history, as well as
world languages, art, music and electives. An Advanced Learning Program
is available for younger students, and high schoolers may prepare for
college with honors and Advanced Placement® courses. In
addition, students have the opportunity to take concurrent enrollment
courses to earn college credit while still in high school.

CAVA @ Maricopa's dedicated teachers facilitate lessons during live,
interactive online classes and interact with students and families via
phone, email, web-based classrooms and online discussions, building
close partnerships with parents and students to support academic
success. The online platform enables students to enjoy a safe learning
environment.

Throughout the school year, CAVA @ Maricopa fosters a sense of community
through in-person field trips, social outings and service learning
opportunities. CAVA @ Maricopa also celebrates graduating seniors with
an in-person commencement ceremony in the spring. Additionally, virtual
clubs and student organizations allow students to further explore their
interests together in the online setting.

CAVA @ Maricopa also offers a program called Community Day, which
combines the best of online learning with weekly face-to-face
interaction. On Community Days, students receive instruction from
teachers in math and language arts and participate in various other
educational activities, such as physical education and science fairs,
while parents receive support and network with other parents.

CAVA @ Maricopa is still accepting enrollments for the fall. Interested
families are encouraged to attend online information sessions hosted by
