The
Schall Law Firm
, a national shareholder rights litigation firm,
announces that it is investigating claims on behalf of investors of
Maxar Technologies Ltd. ("Maxar" or "the Company") (NYSE: MAXR)
for violations of §§10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of
1934 and Rule 10b-5 promulgated thereunder by the U.S. Securities and
Exchange Commission.

The investigation focuses on whether the Company issued false and/or
misleading statements and/or failed to disclose information pertinent to
investors. Spruce Point Capital Management published a report on August
7, 2018, alleging that Maxar "has pulled one of the most aggressive
accounting schemes Spruce Point has ever seen to inflate Non-IFRS
earnings by 79%." The firm's report makes the assertion that Maxar
utilized the acquisition of DigitalGlobe to "to inflate [its] intangible
assets" and also "amended its post-retirement benefit plan to book
one-time gains" in a way so that it "was not fully disclosed across its
investor communications." Based on this report, Maxar's share price fell
13.4% on the same day.
