Southern California Retailer Active Ride Shop Giving Away $100,000 to Local High Schools

Four Southern California High Schools Can Win $25,000 Each for
Their Athletics Programs Just By Voting for Their Schools

Active Ride Shop is pleased to announce a commitment of $100,000 cash to
Southern California high schools to help support school athletics. Votes
will be collected through Sept. 3 in all 25 of Active's retail stores
with the top schools in each of four districts collecting $25,000 for
their school sports program.

The four regions and associated stores include: Los Angeles County (Santa
Monica, El Segundo, Long Beach, Downey, Burbank), Inland Empire (Temecula,
Rancho Cucamonga, Corona, Riverside, Redlands, Chino Hills, Chino,
Menifee), San Gabriel Valley/Santa Clarita Valley/Ventura County/Kern
(West Covina, San Dimas, Bakersfield, Valencia, Oxnard,
Thousand Oaks), Orange County/North County (Aliso Viejo, Orange,
Irvine, Brea, Tustin, Escondido)

California schools continue to face funding challenges and sports
programs are typically some of the first to suffer from budget
constraints. Students, parents, faculty and the surrounding communities
are left searching for fundraising options to ensure the sports programs
can continue and thrive. It is with this in mind, Active has launched
the "Active 4 Schools Back-To-School $100,000 Giveaway."

"Based in Southern California, we know schools are underfunded and it's
important to Active that we help our communities with funding for youth
programs," said Active President Jenner Heller. "Kids are passionate
about the activities they participate in and we want to do our part in
enabling them to live an Active lifestyle."

Active has long been committed to giving back to the communities it
serves. Last year alone, the brand raised more than $125,000 for local
schools, after school programs, sports teams and various charities
through its Perfect
sock program.
