medical services and plan performance.

"Kimberly has been a key member of the Anthem team since we began
serving Indiana Medicaid consumers in 2007 and she is well-positioned to
facilitate a seamless transition of leadership," said Metzger. "Kimberly
has played a significant role in the implementation of the Healthy
Indiana Plan (HIP) 2.0 Medicaid program and I have the utmost confidence
in her ability to lead a team dedicated to ensuring consumers continue
to have access to our healthcare plans."

Dr. Roop joined Anthem eleven years ago and has held several positions

a large private obstetrics and gynecology practice in Indianapolis. Dr.
Roop earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Indiana University School
of Medicine and her MBA from West Virginia University.

"For more than a decade, the Anthem Medicaid business has been dedicated
to providing Hoosiers access to excellent healthcare services and
support programs," said Dr. Roop. "As someone who has devoted their
career to helping others, I'm excited to lead a team that works
tirelessly to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of
consumers. By utilizing our innovative approach to care delivery, I am
confident that we will successfully meet the needs of our consumers,
care providers and state partners."
