ExxonMobil's Speedpass+ App Now Available in General Motors Vehicles

ExxonMobil announced today that its Speedpass+™ app will now be
available in eligible Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles
through GM's Marketplace platform. The integration of the app into GM
vehicles will allow customers to pay for gas and accumulate rewards
using their car's infotainment touch screen without accessing credit
cards or mobile devices.

The Speedpass+ app, which can be used at more than 11,000 Exxon or Mobil
retail stations across the U.S., enables customers to pay for fuel
quickly and easily, using secure payment technology. The integration of
Marketplace and Speedpass+ is ExxonMobil's first fully embedded
in-vehicle fuel payment option. Currently, more than two million 2017
and 2018 GM vehicles have Marketplace functionality. That number is
expected to reach four million by the end of 2018.

"ExxonMobil continuously looks for opportunities to better serve its
customers," said Devin Miller, Americas digital app development manager,
ExxonMobil Fuels & Lubricants Company. "We rolled out mobile payment
options to our U.S. network in 2015, and we are continuing to innovate
and simplify our consumer experience by partnering with General Motors.

Using ExxonMobil's Speedpass+ app within Marketplace is a convenient way
to pay for fuel. Customers simply press the ExxonMobil icon within
Marketplace on their car's touchscreen. The vehicle automatically
identifies the station and allows customers to select the pump number
and preferred payment method.

"Our goal with Marketplace is to help make everyday tasks as easy as
possible for our customers so they can focus on enjoying time spent in
their vehicles," said Rick Ruskin, Marketplace Line of Business Leader,
Buick. "Bringing the ExxonMobil pay for fuel functionality right on the
touchscreen of our vehicles is the latest advancement of this platform,
allowing drivers to easily access Speedpass+ and securely pay for gas
while inside their car."

When customers use the Speedpass+ app on their smart phone, they can
also purchase carwashes and even redeem points from Exxon
Mobil Rewards+
, the company's new loyalty program that
was launched earlier this month.

ExxonMobil was the first major fuel retailer to implement mobile payment
options at the pump throughout its U.S. network. It continues to support
technology and innovation in fuel payment methods through partnerships
with innovative companies.
