Industry Veteran Steve Litchfield to Help Guide Next Phase of
Solid State Storage and Memory Leader's Growth

Virtium, a leading provider of solid-state drive (SSD) and memory
solutions for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) market, today
announced that industry veteran Steve Litchfield has joined its Board of
Directors. Litchfield, who serves as chief financial officer and chief
corporate strategy officer at MaxLinear, joins the board with the
objective of augmenting Virtium's strong organic growth with a more
robust mergers-and-acquisitions effort in order to
expand Virtium's addressable market and add new product offerings
relevant for both new and existing customers in the embedded-systems and
IIoT markets.

"I am extremely excited to welcome Steve to Virtium's Board of
Directors," said Phu Hoang, co-founder and chief executive officer of
Virtium. "His track record of success and industry experience will add
significant value as we look to execute our long-term growth strategy
and scale our global operations."

"I have known Phu and the Virtium team for a long time and am excited to
join Virtium's Board of Directors," said Litchfield. "Virtium has built
an exceptional business that has experienced rapid growth in recent
years. I look forward to lending my experience and advice at the Board
level in support of the company's continued expansion."

Prior to his present position at MaxLinear, Litchfield was executive
vice president and chief strategy officer of Microsemi Corp. He
previously served as vice president of the Microsemi's Analog and Mixed
Signal Group, which followed his prior position as vice president of
corporate marketing and business development, as well as being a member
of the company's Board of Directors, with that company. His previous
experience included being an equity research analyst at Banc of America
Securities, as well as a production engineer at Toyota Motor Corp. He
holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Purdue
