The watery depths have always hidden tales and legends of all kinds. Stevedores to captains have all experienced or heard about memorable storms, terrible monsters or mythical creatures. Let yourself be swept away by tales of courage, betrayal or lost love… Our storytellers will transport you into these stories that leave a trace of salt water on the forehead, or on the cheeks…

For all ages. Each performance lasts 30 minutes, in French only. In case of rain the activity will take place at the Port Centre.

Four 20-minute sessions
Location: Promenade d'Iberville (the Grand Quay's green roof)

Studio 88 Swing explodes onto the green roof to get young and old up and dancing! Two costumed teachers perform acrobatic swing demonstrations followed by a short introduction class.

In a calm welcoming setting, Érika Gauvin fosters discovery of the human body's subtleties and its awakening to breath movement, as a way to develop freedom of movement. Her background in contemporary dance and yoga encourages her to explore the balance between sthira (effort/strength) and sukha (grace/gentleness) through breathing, space and consciousness.

Participants are asked to bring their own yoga mat. In case of rain, the event will take at the Pavilion (at the "river" end of the green roof).
