The supplemental funds are used to support NJMEP's Technical Sales Training & Apprenticeship program (approved by New Jersey – currently under Federal review), and the MSSC (Manufacturing Skills Standards Council) training – national credentials in Production Technician & Logistics Technician.  NJMEP is looking toward the State to match these funds through an open State Budget Resolution.

"This award is further indication of New Jersey's increased prominence in America's manufacturing sector, and we look forward to continuing to help manufacturers innovate and grow," says John W. Kennedy, CEO of NJMEP. "These programs have been developed to provide entry-level opportunities to companies in need of these skills," adds Kennedy.

NJMEP is ranked amongst one of the top performing MEP center based on the results of independent, third party, quarterly client surveys.  The numbers reflect NJMEP's impact from 2000 through second quarter 2018.
