OpenWorks Looks to Sweep Up Corporate Cleaning Competition in Pennsylvania

Commercial Cleaning & Facility Service Franchise Opens Corporate 'Home Base' in King of Prussia, Plans to Jumpstart 20 Local Entrepreneurial Careers in Two Years

PR Newswire

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., July 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- OpenWorks, a rapidly growing commercial cleaning and full-service facility management franchise, is targeting the Keystone State for growth. After opening a corporate office in King of Prussia in spring 2018, the company has announced plans to develop six new franchise owners by year's end and 20 franchise partners by 2020.

The new franchise owners will open and operate under the leadership of Brian Thomas, an OpenWorks area developer. Thomas, a Philadelphia native, came to OpenWorks with decades of valuable sales and management experience in technology and payroll. Differing from other franchise operations, one of Thomas's main goals as a corporate area developer is to build a client base within local business parks, healthcare, K-12 schools, and more. By doing so, Thomas is setting new franchisees up for success; each new entrepreneur will already have a portfolio of contract clients and be financially fruitful. OpenWorks also has a long list of national, multi-location clients that Pennsylvania franchisees will have the opportunity to secure contracts with, including BNSF Railway, UPS, Schoolhouse Learning, and more.

Already working toward the goal of 20 franchise owners in Pennsylvania by 2020, Brian and his team have added two new franchise owners, currently fulfilling cleaning contracts in multiple local businesses. After expanding throughout Philadelphia and its suburbs, Thomas' targeted development markets where he plans to bring OpenWorks' full menu of facility services and franchise opportunity include Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, State College and more.

"No other franchise opportunity hands you clients and a set revenue to you like OpenWorks; we are the premier franchise network in the $78 billion commercial cleaning industry," said Thomas. "My team has been diligently working on building an arsenal of long-term business relationships for our future franchisees so they can hit the ground running. With the burgeoning business sector in Philadelphia and its bustling suburbs, OpenWorks is ripe for immediate growth."

Backed by 35-years of industry experience, OpenWorks is a full-service facility cleaning franchise specializing in Class A office spaces, educational buildings (K-12), healthcare buildings (specifically urgent cares, dialysis clinics and physical therapy offices) and manufacturing plants and offices. An OpenWorks franchise includes equipment, training and customers from day-one in addition to pre-approved funding.

For the remainder of 2018, OpenWorks has additional plans to add franchisees in Portland, Orlando, Nashville, Kansas City, and Columbus. The franchise is on track to sign a total of 200 new franchise agreements for the year.
