PR Newswire

WASHINGTON, July 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- MWWPR announced today that Alanna Suda has been named Co-Chair of the Health & Social Policies Task Force of Women in Government Relations, Inc. (WGR). The organization is one of the most respected non-profit, non-partisan government relations associations in the Washington metropolitan area.

WGR's Health & Social Policies Task Force is comprised of members from the public and private sectors who share a passion for shaping health care and social policy, bringing together congressional, federal agency and health care industry leaders. Suda will bring over two decades of experience in Government and Public Affairs representing healthcare organizations, institutions of higher education, associations, corporations and research entities to bear for WGR.

"Alanna is known and respected for her thoroughness and effectiveness in working with the federal government and her proficiency in utilizing both the legislative and regulatory processes to achieve client-specific objectives," said Michael W. Kempner, founder and CEO of MWWPR. "We're proud to have her on our team and this appointment is a testament to not only her ability but the impact she has made."

She specializes in affecting broad policy changes through authorizing legislation, increasing federal funding and influencing future agency opportunities through the appropriations process, and working with clients to create strategic partnerships with federal agencies, the White House, and professional associations in Washington, DC.

WGR's over 1,200 members at all professional levels represent corporations, trade associations and professional societies, law firms, lobbying firms, nonprofit groups and federal, state and local governments.  In addition to regulatory briefings and networking events, at the beginning of each year, the health and social policies task force conducts a House and Senate congressional staff panel to discuss the upcoming legislative cycle.
