Fairleigh Dickinson University Selects Learning House to Launch Innovative Online Programs

Collaboration will result in at least 25 new online programs over the course of seven years

PR Newswire

TEANECK, N.J., July 25, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU), today announced it has selected the Learning House, a leading academic program manager, as its partner in the development of at least 25 innovative online degree programs, ten of which are scheduled to rollout in the Fall of 2018. The Learning House, which offers a full suite of tech-enabled education services and manages over 465 undergraduate and graduate programs to help partners thrive in a competitive higher education landscape, will help FDU meet the online learning needs of thousands of students.

"Our partnership with Learning House will leverage their faculty-centric and student lifecycle services to enable us to better serve our community," noted Dr. Christopher A. Capuano, President of FDU. "We're excited to work with Learning House to provide access and scale to a diverse set of innovative online programs that will allow our students to succeed in today's evolving workforce."

The 2018 Online College Student report developed by Learning House and Aslanian Market Research surveyed over 1,500 online college students and found that the market share of online programs is diversifying, especially at the graduate level, and broad-based programs like general education or general business are losing market share to more specialized fields. Based on these findings, Learning House will initially develop ten programs with FDU, which are uniquely built to meet the needs and expectations of online students and modern career options, including:

  • Master of Arts in Mathematical Foundations
  • Master of Arts in Student Services Administration
  • Master of Business Administration
  • Master of Science in Accounting
  • Master of Science in Cyber & Homeland Security
  • Master of Science in Digital Marketing
  • Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Master of Science in Nursing - Nursing Education
  • Master of Science in Service Innovation and Leadership
  • RN-BSN

With multiple campuses, FDU offers both traditional and digital degree programs and access to higher education for both traditional and nontraditional students. FDU is ranked among the best universities in the North region by U.S. News & World Report's "Best Colleges 2018" and is consistently highly ranked among colleges in the Northeastern United States for its excellent programs.

"FDU is the largest private university in New Jersey, and a well-known leader in higher education, delivering high-quality content and service to more than 10,000 students," said Todd Zipper, President and CEO of Learning House. "We're pleased to extend our leadership in this field to help the university increase access to unique online undergraduate and graduate degrees and deliver transformative digital education."
