LOUIS, July 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Ces & Judy's Catering is proud to announce the opening of The Venue at Maison du Lac, a 7,000-square-foot contemporary event space in Catawissa, Missouri, 15 minutes outside of Eureka. Set on a scenic 25 acre countryside property, the private event estate is ideal for weddings, corporate events and large-scale social gatherings.

The Venue at Maison du Lac features a modern architectural design with high ceilings, state-of-the-art sound and lighting, an outdoor deck overlooking the lake, and striking 12 and 18-foot windows offering natural light and panoramic views. The vast property also boasts indoor and outdoor ceremony location options, lush greenery with plenty of grassy areas for yard games, and a well-lit, paved parking lot with easy access to the property.

Additionally, the property's Catawissa Stone House, built in 1843 with local stone from the original owner's quarry, has a newly updated luxury bridal suite with a beauty station for hair and make-up, plenty of seating and closet space, and a bar area with a mini fridge for food and champagne. The house also features a groom's lounge, full kitchen with an island and table, separate driveway with access to the barn and venue, and an enclosed hallway with natural lighting, perfect for a first look.

Each 12-hour rental includes full use of The Venue, renovated barn, and Catawissa Stone House with no competing parties the day of the event. Also included in the rental are silver chiavari slate chairs; round, cocktail and buffet tables; and an event specialist to serve as a single point of contact. Custom menu and drink options offered exclusively by Ces & Judy's Catering could include a served dinner, buffet dinner, or themed stations, and comes with table linens, flatware, glassware and china. Upgrades including late night snacks, signature cocktails, a champagne toast and more are also available.

The Venue can accommodate up to 300 guests, with options to make the space feel more intimate for smaller gatherings such as birthday or retirement parties, showers, corporate functions or retreats, anniversaries, reunions and meetings. Clients will have a blank canvas allowing for extraordinary personalization and the flexibility to bring in their own vendors to customize the space; the modern design and simplistic elegance suits everything from elaborate weddings to more intimate gatherings.

The Venue at Maison du Lac was designed by Tao + Lee Associates and built by Spiegelglass Construction Company.

Additionally, Ces & Judy's Catering recently completed a 5,000 square-foot kitchen in Frontenac to accommodate the growing needs of its off-premise catering business. The company caters weddings, corporate events and social gatherings and is a preferred caterer for more than 30 venues around St. Louis.
