Greenlight Hall is a collaborative effort between Full Sail University and the Department of Veterans Affairs, designed to showcase adaptive technology for paralyzed and disabled veterans. Through a variety of interactive exhibits provided by companies dedicated to developing innovative technology solutions, veteran athletes competing in the Games, as well as attendees, are able to experience a wide range of virtual experiences made possible by technology, from VR gaming to virtual hang gliding and more.

"By showcasing the latest hardware and software created to enhance accessibility for disabled and paralyzed veterans, we are able to expose them to a product that may enhance the quality of their lives or the lives of others," said Rob Catto, Director of Game Studies and Simulation at Full Sail University.

"We are excited to be able to provide this unique educational opportunity for our Veteran athletes during this year's National Veterans Wheelchair Games," said Heather Frebe, Public Affairs Officer for the Orlando VA Medical Center. I am looking forward to the athletes visiting Greenlight Hall to learn more about technology that is available to help enhance their lives."

In addition to launching Greenlight Hall, Full Sail University is also contributing to this year's Wheelchair Games in numerous ways ranging from producing the opening ceremonies, to its University's Media Communications students producing video content for future use.

"At Full Sail University, we are proud to be the educational home to veteran students, staff, faculty and alumni encompassing all branches of military service," said Aaron Hall, Military Relations Manager for Full Sail. "Throughout the year we host and participate in numerous events – both on and off campus – in support of the veteran community at large. When we first began brainstorming with the VA on how our university could best support the Wheelchairs Games it was a natural fit to tie in our expertise in production, with an experience focused on the latest in immersive technologies. This is what we teach, so our involvement in building Greenlight Hall has been from concept to completion. We are proud to bring this experiential element to the Wheelchairs Games, and we hope it continues to grow alongside the Games themselves."
