Redwood Apartment Neighborhoods Now Offer Food Donation Service to Indiana Residents

PR Newswire

CLEVELAND, July 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Redwood Living, Inc. (Redwood), the innovative development and management company known for its single-story apartment homes, has added a new perk for its Indiana residents. Partnered with CORT, a home furnishing rental company, they will now offer food donation services through Move for Hunger.

"We're excited to provide this opportunity in our Indiana neighborhoods," says Redwood Regional Manager Scott McLaughlin. "Thanks to CORT and Move for Hunger, residents now have the choice of donating food to the hungry in our local community, and from the comfort of their own apartment home."

Redwood will provide food donation bags from Move for Hunger to residents throughout their stay and at move out, then CORT will pick up the donations and deliver them to local area food banks. This allows residents to get rid of food they aren't going to use, without having to drive to a donation center. Plus, they get the gratification of knowing they've fed the hungry in their area. Redwood is excited to provide this service to residents and make an impact in Indiana communities.
